CHANGING OF THE GUARD AT THE PANEL

Founder and inaugural Chair (2006 to 2014), Graeme McEwen, has stepped down as Panel Chair so that he may focus on Counsel for Animals International, a new group with lawyer support in 17 countries. A CAI website is under construction: counselforanimalsinternational.org. Graeme remains as a director of the Panel board and will still act as a spokesperson on discrete issues.

The Panel board has appointed South Australian director and barrister, Joana Fuller, as the new Chair and Western Australian director, Lorraine Madden to the newly created position of Deputy Chair. The Panel’s new National Coordinator is Queensland Coordinator, Ruth Hatten.

The Panel expresses its grateful thanks to Graeme for his unwavering dedication to the Panel.
